Why Boosterthon - Why Now?
Something we've been working on this year is reevaluating our primary fundraiser, the Magazine Sale, that runs in the fall. While this fundraiser has been a Pacelli and PTO staple for many years, we’ve heard a lot of feedback that it might be time to move on to something that is more engaging for students and families.
As a part of this we’ve spoken to PTO boards and parents from schools like ours and found that they’ve had great success (as well as a lot of fun!) with Boosterthon’s Fun Runs. We take your time, energy and money very seriously so we do not want to make a switch without fully vetting this as an alternative. Boosterthon offered us a risk-free opportunity to test out their offering so we’ve set up a trial run (pun intended) for this spring* and will be collecting your feedback through an anonymous survey at its conclusion.

Didn't We Already Fundraise This Year?
Yes - and THANK YOU for your support in the Fall magazine sale! Two fundraisers in a year is not going to become a norm by any means - this is simply to test the model before committing to a switch. Any extra funds raised will be put toward helping teachers and staff improve their classrooms and supplies.
What Are You Asking of Us?
Help us evaluate this fundraiser for the fall! Please read the information that comes home, go through the registration process and see how it feels to use a fundraiser like this where we are inviting friends and family to "pledge" based on our kids' participation in the event. Then, when the event is over, share your feedback with us so we can make an informed decision moving into the '23-'24 school year.
How Are We Sharing Feedback?
PTO will launch an anonymous survey (look for it in the Post). we'll also have paper copies if you REALLY want to make sure there's no digital footprint (we have no idea how to tell who is who, but we get it!).
