Interested in Getting More Involved? PTO is looking ahead to the '23-'24 School Year!
We would love to have you on the team! Meetings are held monthly for the board but not required to participate in helping and planning our events that keep Pacelli traditions alive. Helping fill PTO roles is a great way to help us keep traditions going, bring new traditions to life and get to know other Pacelli families! No prior experience is needed to jump in! Please reach out to PTOOnline@cardinalpacelli.org with any questions or ideas.
You can also use this 3 question "survey" to see the events we sponsor and let us know if you're interested in being contacted for any of them!

Thank you to all of the families that volunteered and provided resources for Catholic Schools Week! We may be biased, but we think it might have been the best one yet! We cannot provide these experiences and treats for our students and teachers without parent support from fall to spring, so thank you, thank you, thank you! |
Here are some highlights from the week!
- On Monday we kicked things off with pajama day, a coffee truck for the teachers and an opening prayer from Father Adam. Father Adam then visited classrooms and answered questions for our students.
- Tuesday was Student Appreciation Day and your PTO treated kids to a Skyline lunch and teacher's helped us coordinate a movie day (with snack) and no homework!
- A big thank you to Maplewood Kitchen for helping us treat our teachers to an amazing lunch spread on Wednesday, Teacher Appreciation Day! Teachers were also invited to partake in a 10-minute chair massage.
- Thursday's excitement was provided by the Student Council, who did a tremendous job organizing a Jump Rope-a-Thon for the American Heart Association. Students were also treated to a performance by local jump rope troupe, The Firecrackers.
- Friday wrapped up an amazing week with the all-school mass, arranged by Saint Families, Saint Family Bingo and the 8th Grade Volleyball game.
A La Soupe Record!
The archdiocese's theme for Catholic Schools Week is Faith, Excellence & Service. Our hope in partnering with La Soupe for this year's celebration of Catholic Schools was that we could create a tangible connection between the idea of service and serving our community while also having a lot of fun. We challenged families to bring in 1,200 specific goods to support La Soupe's mission to feed our community and MY GOODNESS you all delivered. We gathered 2,513 items that will go to nourishing families in Cincinnati. That's 3,251 POUNDS of food!
La Soupe notified us that this sets a new donation record -- you all have the thanks of the La Soupe organizers and your Catholic Schools Week Committee! |
